Went to watch Sister's Keeper with Bunnies! Great movie! 4 popcorns! Cried almost from the start to the end. Seriously hate myself for being a water tap! But its really touching .. sob sob.. I wanna buy the DVD next time when its out.. although the storyline was kind of different from the book, I tot the movie storyline was better. It is the first movie that izzit just copy and paste the scene in the storybook and make it into a movie. Sometimes its really disappointing to know that they miss out this and that.. and nv put everything together nicely.
This movie gives the story a good twist and ending.. it was nice.. sob sob.. should I watch it again?!?!?! haha.. Here the trailer! Still feel very sad when I watched this.. ah!

First actress to applaud would be Cameron Diaz!!! She seriously shaved her hair! Just for one little scene.. oh man! Bravo! Her acting skills was good.. protrays the life of a caregiver.. great!
Another actress would be Sofia Vassilieva acting as Kate, the cancer patient. In addition to the great make-up artist, I tot she acted very well as a cancer patient. The action, the smile, the hardships.. almost similar to the real cancer patient in the hospital. Thumbs up!

Boo! Finally this week datelines done!!!!! Up next! health assessment skills, Research final review essay and Critical care skills! this sem is really packed packed packed!!!! But well, I guess no matter how busy you are, better not neglect the people around u.. it would still be good to make time for your frenz and family =)
Well, really thankful for the people around mi. In school, have frenz to accompnay and grumble and encourage and have some fun Reach home, have a comfortable house and yummy home-cooked food to eat During my squeeze out spare time, have nice bf to chat with.. very understanding and busy at the same time too.. haha!
I think this makes my life a better one. =)
shall assign one day after all these to be "School work free day!!!" Better relax a bit before exams!
Oh ya! And i was attached to paediatric for my posting this dec. Well, Guess im fated to go to NUH man.. ah.. always stuck in the west. But Im fine!!! AS long as there are kids.. it shall be an eye-opening .. hee =)

Felt much better after chatting with bunnies at Lot 1 today. haha. Think I'm too stressed ah. It was seriously a good chit-chat session man. After I reached home, I felt so much better and had all the energy to do my work. Think I have brain block for the past few days.
And, I wan to watch Sister's keeper and New moon!!!! ah!!!! I hope I can watch them soon!!!!
Plus Ivan was super busy and tired too. Ah! Our schedules are really crazy. Oh man. Thanks mobile phones. At least it keeps us connected somehow.

Haiz.. Seriously sick of writing case study. It is worse when u have one after another. Doubly Sianz.. I want to fin it asap but provided I am lucky enough to find the articles I want. AH! Boring!
Looking at my frenz' photos who are overseas studying. Sort of envy them.. I guess it will definitely be a memorable part of their life. To live independently, being in charge totally of ur life.. and a new environment. Somehow I wish I have a chance to go overseas and study or have exchange too. Maybe next time? But when? I'm not sure. Well, I know we are fortunate enough to have an education in Singapore compared to other countries.. But sometimes, its worth a change rite?
Was learning about Erikson's theory in our Health Assessment lecture. The last stage of his psycho-social development was late adulthood: age 55 to 65 or Death. Ego Development outcome: Integrity vs Despair Basic Strengths: Wisdom
Integrity means looking back at our lives with contentment and happiness and feel that you have made a contribution to life
Despair means being dissatisfacted and you will thoughts like "what if I have done this, will my life be better"?
I hope I will not fall into the "despair" category. I hope by that age, I would be able to fufill what I want to do in my life. hmmm.. like travelling around, thriving in my career, doing mission in other countries and probably having a happy family. Of coz, I think along the way, you just have to be satisfied with what you have.
But like what my lecturer says, grab any opportunity that u have. You nv know if it works unless u do it. So ya.. have no regrets in life.
Sometimes, Life can be tough when u get older. Lots of things to worry and think about. I think I have aged man! AHHHHH!!!!!
Probably I need to do something outrageous like shaving my hair?!?!?!?!?!!? (Just Joking!)
Too bored by my case study. But well, it's reality time again.

Have the urge to blog today although I have lots of things to complete at hands. Today was just a normal day. Lab in the morning and today we learnt how to bath newborn baby today! So excited!!! Hee.. can't wait to bath the first baby in nursary!! hee.. Really require skills man.. Hope "my" first baby will be a nice one =) Cant wait attachment during dec!
For the rest of the day, seriously feel like dozing off.. Zzzzzzz.... Now doing my another case study which is due next friday. After that, still have many more things to come.. nvm.. will take one thing at a time man =)
Oh ya! And I had a funny dream! I dreamt of JAY CHOU! OMG! I think its quite ridiculous to dream of him lor.. Haven listen to his songs for so long.. oh man.. dunnoe why he appeared man.. lolz.. Maybe one of my brain cells still contain information about him.. haha..

Pretty 'Designers' Shoes
What kind of shoes would a fashion trendsetter design? Wyman Wong, a Hong Kong songwriter and radio host answers the question through his collaboration with Pedder Red.

I liked Nursing Lab ytd!!! We learnt how to deliver baby and it was interesting to find out from the midwife that out of 10 deliveries, 2 fathers will faint in the delivery threatre. Haha.. I thought it was quite funny.. one time the father will be there encouraging and supporting the mummy, the another time, he would be lying on the floor alr. Dun think I would have the chance to witness this unless I am a midwife next time. Hee!
But delivery wasnt easy. Ya, mummies are the bravest human in the world man!!! Imagine so much pain to deliver your beloved child out.. oh man.. Must be a nightmare. Well, I think mummies will forget all the pain when they see their little aborable babies =)
We also got to see real placenta! It was really bigger than what I have imagined. But placenta is a very important organ for the fetus development.
~ links blood supply of mother with the child ~ allows oxygen and mineral salts to pass from the mother to the fetus, while carbon dioxide and other waste materials in the opposite direction ~ pass antibiotics from mother to child
Amazed at how the human body develop this organ and shed it after delivery.

Watched "The Ugly Truth" on wed. I tot it was okie only.. funny, kind of pervertic and the storyline is those happy-ending kind u know.. Not a very stressful show. So if u are stress like me with case studies, school work etc etc.. Go and watch.. coz U dun need brain for this. =)
Cant believe its friday alr! OMG! I wished I have one more recess week to fin up my case studies.. seriously running out of time.. ah!!!!!
